Together we will capture the magic moments between your family and not worry about posing or trying to get the kids to behave in these sessions. There will be fun running, chasing or tickling your children which keeps them entertained.
I have ways of capturing your children without saying cheese or look at the camera. I can capture you at your home or on location for a family lifestyle session. Kids love showing me things in nature or their rooms, a favourite toy, or pet. I know that getting ready and out the door is hard work, I'm all about giving people my time - time to capture that fun that makes everything stressful fade away.
We do all the prep work together to make sure your session runs smoothly on the day and sure sometimes children can be unsettled in a new enviourmnet ,I bring a rug ,you bring the snacks and lets have ourselves a little picnic to get started.
Large family groups can be captured but extended families need to be arranged prior to shoot day and an additional charge is incurable for families over 6 people.
As your photographer, I encourage you to have fun, relax, and engage with your family to tell your story. I want you to be able to look back, to remember, to feel and cherish these moments of true, honest emotions and the real raw moments of your family.
I capture a variety of images for you that are lifestyle and unposed, with different combinations that including the entire family.
It is all about relaxed candid moments and the connection you have with your family and your children, don’t worry I guide everyone in the session in a clam way.
Often when kids decide to do their own thing, which they often do in a session, I’m there to capture them doing that too, trust in letting go in our sessions and that’s when I capture your family in my style of storytelling.

The Session
Your Lifestyle Family sessions can be made in your home or on location, outdoor sessions are closer to sunset for that magical glow (within 40kms from 3138, extra travel fee may apply).
We arrange to meet in a selected outdoor location, I have lovely locations to choose from depending on where you are. I'm always happy to travel to your home in Melbourne metro or regional Victoria.
When
Sunset for that magical glow on location , (book ahead for weekends). Please note I have my own family to work around when booking a weekend session, so please be mindful of times your session takes place, sunsets vary all year round so sessions can take place from 4.30pm to 8pm at different months of the year, pop to the contact page for session times throughout the year.
What to wear
I advise to avoid clothing with black patterns, logos or bright colours, and choose plain, pastel or mid tone colours that work with my editing style . We will talk about what to wear in your styling guide.
I offer styling advise with my guide and have experience making your clothing selection an easy process.
